Our next several posts will be holiday gift ideas. Â Here is a pair of warm slippers made from felted wool sweaters. Â We took two coordinating sweaters and felted them. Â For felting instructions see our previous mitten ornament post. Â To sew the slippers together we used a pattern from one of our favorite books Sewing Green by Betz White.
The slippers were finished off with a blanket stitch in coordinating thread.
We also sewed some small scraps of suede onto the bottom to make them “no slip”.
