Dish Drying Mat
Here is another way to re-purpose an old towel.  We took an old hand towel, it doesn’t matter if it is stained or worn,  and sewed some cotton fabric to it (remember the sarong scarf?).
For those of you who sew, we simply sewed it together like a pillow case, (right sides together) flipped it to the right side and then topstitched around the outside about 1/4†in.  We finished it off by quilting some straight lines through the mat parallel to each other. This whole project took about 15 minutes.
