Felted wool, part IV: A Wool Basket

We saw this project in an old Martha Stewart magazine and as with most MS projects, thought it was too complicated. However, once we got going, we realized that it was simple. (Take that Martha!)

This is the front of a gray sweater (remember the baby hat from felted wool post #1?). We used the stripe as decoration. You could make this basket in a variety of sizes and because of its unique shape it provides a different storage option.
